INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEMS
INTENSIVES
Whether it feels like you’re at a significant crisis point, seeking a more concentrated form of IFS facilitation, or need a kick start on your healing journey, intensives allow for focused time to heal and explore restoration in the wounded and aching parts of your soul.
Intensive IFS is structured specifically to meet each individual’s or couple’s goals, timeframe, and needs. It is one of the most effective and efficient options when considering trauma recovery. Clients continually express the benefits of intensive work for long-term healing.
We like to use the analogy of year-round school when we talk about intensives. When a child has 3 months off for summer break, often the first month back to school is review. In year-round school, there is much less backtracking, and rehashing.
The same is true with IFS intensives. We can walk into your system and work gently into a deeper place because the time is condensed and uninterrupted by life’s busyness. We get to be together longer and lean into the areas that may have haunted you for years.
Perhaps you’ve believed that if you looked at ‘that thing’ or felt ‘that feeling’ you’d never fully come back from the pain of it, or those who love you would be fearful of your changes.
Perhaps you’ve believed it’s easier to pretend or shove down the feelings. You’re not wrong. It is certainly easier…but only in the short term. It does tend to catch up to us and to our families.
If you are seeking an IFS intensive or know you need something, but aren’t sure what, we understand your fears and concerns. We are glad to walk you through the options and help you feel more comfortable with how we can cater to your specific needs. Our primary goal is to create a safe, effective environment for something new to take place. You deserve a jump start.
Please contact our office for a complimentary phone consultation. No pressure. No expectation. We will gladly answer any questions about intensives, IFS, or anything else.

The extended time changed my life! While seeing someone weekly in the past was helpful, the extended time during the intensive was a game changer. It’s where I turned the corner!
